Cllr. Kim Caddy - Southfields

Kim lives locally with her husband and two young children. She is a big fan of the one o'clock clubs, playgroups and parks that make Southfields and Wandsworth great for growing families, as well as the many cafés and restaurants which are so welcoming to babies and toddlers – and their buggies! Alongside representing Southfields Ward, Kim is the council Cabinet Member for Housing, sits on the Audit Committee and the Executive Committee. She is also the chairman of the Borough Residents Forum, Roehampton Partnership and Central Area Housing Panel amongst other appointments.

Kim first moved to Wandsworth ten years ago, returning to her roots in a part of London where her own mother grew up in the late 1950s. Before taking time out from her career as a chartered accountant to look after her children, Kim worked as a finance manager for a global engineering firm.

Kim also enjoys her work in the community as a school Governor, a Governor of Kingston Hospital and as a Trustee for First Touch, a charity which supports the neonatal unit at St George's Hospital.

As a regular user of local parks and green spaces, Kim is on the management committee of the Friends of Wimbledon Park and is keen to make sure these local assets are treasured and protected.

Kim says: "A real sense of community, great local services and low council tax attract and keep people in our part of London. I promise to work hard to make it even better."
